(#12) The Ballet
Hi All,
Tonight my Daughter Dawn, Daughter In-Law Jen and I all went to see "The Nutcraker" at the Civic Center in San Diego, Ca. It was presented by The California Ballet and they did a wonderful job. My favorite part was the dance of the Snow Queen and King, accompanied by the Snow Flakes, just a beautifully performed and choreographed dance. But the little dancers in the Sugar Plum Fairy Castle stole the show. They all did a great job and the music, provided by the San Diego Symphony, was marvelous too. It was so cute to see all these little girls all dressed up for the Ballet. Some out for a date with their Dad. Makes me wish I'd have been able to take my little girls, about 20 or so years ago, to see a Ballet. Don't get me wrong, it was fun taking the 20 something girls this time, but they didn't have the look of wonderment the little girls all around us had. I enjoyed the night, but I think I'd rather go to a Charger's game. Have a great week! Sue

Hi Susie,
I know that drive, it's not fun. I like flying better. In fact next weekend I'm going to Texas to see my son in-law graduate from Texas A&M, my Grandkids and I are taking a horse drawn carriage ride. That'll be another one off the list. Thanks for the encouragement! Sue
