(#6) The Alpine Slide, what a ride! & (#7) Oktoberfest in Big Bear too!

Last Sat 10/30 the kids & I went up to Big Bear & rode the Alpine slide (# 6). It was a blast! My grandson kept saying "go again, go again". Then the 3rd time up the ski lift paused for about a min., since I did have the 3 y/o with me at the time I decided we'd had enough fun for one day. I had "emergency rescue" flashing through my brain & us on the 6 o'clock news. It didn't really happen of course, but getting stuck, even momentarily was enough to put a little panic into Grandma.
We also did Oktoberfest (#7) in Big Bear. My grandson & I danced to the Umpah pah band. He was so funny, he wanted to dance every dance & when he got tired thought it was a good idea for me to carry him & keep on dancing. Luckily his Mom & I tag teamed & she relieved me every 3 or 4 dances. I'd definately do both again. Especially with a fun guy like Isaac! I wonder if he'll still want to dance with me in another 10 or so years.
Tomorrow is my 49th Birthday & I'll be jumping out of an Airplane. If I don't post anything after this, then it's been nice knowing you & hopefully you'll all remember me fondly, Sue
