(#44) San Diego "Trolley/Bus" Historic Tour

Hi All,
Well Tony and I went down town to take the Historic tour of San Diego on Sunday. It was a lot of fun and we wish we'd started out a little earlier in the day so we would've had more time to spend at each stop. But it was a great way to see a whole lot of San Diego that's for sure. We had 9 stops that included, San Diego's Old Town (Lots of great historic buildings and good Mexican restaurants too), San Diego Harbor (Midway Museum and cruise ship terminal), Seaport Village (Good shopping and a real old fashioned wooden carosel), Marriott Hotel and Marina, Horton Plaza/ Gaslamp Quarters (great restaurants and more historic places), William Heath Davis House (Museum), Coronando Island (Hotel Del and a fabulous beach), San Diego Zoo (Lions and Tigers and Bears, OH MY! ) and Balboa Park/ Prado (Lots of Museums, the Old Globe Outdoor Theater and the worlds largest outdoor pipe Organ too!) .

If you do this make sure to start early and take advantage of the whole day! For $30 a person it's a good deal for all you get to see and learn about in a day. Plus you don't have to worry about parking or DUI's after Margaritas in Old Town :)
Have a great week! Sue
